There are some minor marks and scuffs and there are also some pen/ink marks but overall they do not detract too much from how great this briefcase looks. It is also monogrammed with the letters RWM on the front in a gold tone. Handles are able to slide up and down and be kind of tucked into the sides as you can see in some of the pictures.
